Lemsford Mill

22nd May

A walk (5.8 miles) through the grounds of Brocket Hall. No signs of the lord or his infamous Ferraris. This was a gentle Sunday afternoon (2hrs) ramble through North Hertfordshire countryside (map), starting from the car park of the Sun Inn (N51°47′ W0°13′). We stumbled upon some beautiful views of Brocket Hall, the remains of a cottage where John Bunyan stayed and preached, and a duck race in the River Lee at Lemsford

Wonder what the puritan John Bunyan would have made of the ‘John Bunyan‘ public house on Coleman Green Lane, just across the road from the house?
